We are an online community for Yandere Simulator that is dedicated to providing an open place to discuss ALL things regarding YanSim in a respectful manner to all users, without the censorship from the creator.
Some might already know why we were created, if not someone will definitely be vocal about it. To prevent a game of telephone, the reason we exist is the 2024 Civil War on r/Osana.
Around June of 2024, a third victim came forward with new allegations against Alex Mahan (YandereDev). Shortly after, a new rule was added to r/Osana that changed the schedule to limit the amount of Fan Art being posted that was inspired by the game. The moderator that gave the announcement did so in a way that was not favored by the masses, and was brought under scrutiny by the community. The Subreddit was blown up with outrage, spam, and alt accounts; all trying to dogpile on the mods. Inside this dumpster fire, r/RyobaAishi was born. At first we were a place to vent about r/Osana, but soon we started to grow and become our own YanSim community. There were many others that sprang up, but many have gone dark or were abandoned.
An official place to get important, curated info. Reddit was the problem that r/Osana faced, and was the reason why the schedule was needed. By having a set place for Alex’s crimes, the Reddit will be free for discussion and fan art. Also if r/RyobaAishi went dark or Reddit went under, there will always be an archive of what’s truly important. If we forget the past it is bound to happen again.
When r/Osana fractured, many communities popped up to vent their frustration. Some of these subs communicate with each other, and are partners with r/RyobaAishi. It will always be important to have the YanSim community together, that way everyone is aware of the Developer’s crimes.
